We adopted our beloved Fanta fromKeysborough in June 1999 when he was six months old. I can recall when we picked up him from the shelter and he was little confused and afraid but few minutes later, he quickly settled with us.
He became a huge part of our family and he even understood some sign language as some of our family members are deaf. I have many great memories with him and I will pick one of my favourites; he always got excited when I signed “treat” and he would jump and run straight to the cabinet where we always stored his treats.
Sadly he passed away one month ago, he was sixteen years old. He had been with us for fifteen years and I always cherish the memories Fanta had shared with us. He was a very special dog and will never forgotten.
Thank you to all the staff at the AAPS.
