HOW TO ADOPT AN ANIMAL AT THE AAPS
If you are interested in adopting an animal from the AAPS, please help us out by filling in one of the adoption forms. For dogs, click here, for cats click here, for rabbits click here.
Please note that our normal adoption hours are Monday to Saturday 10.00am to 3.30pm.
On Sundays, our adoption hours are 11.00am to 3.00pm.
- If you are interested in meeting & adopting any of our animals, please consider that the whole adoption process can take up to 40 minutes so please allow enough time to view & meet the animals, keeping in mind that our adoptions must close at the specified times & all relevant paperwork finalised by those times.
- It can be very stressful for our volunteers & staff when customers come with the intention of adopting our animals nearing our adoption closing times. Thank you.
.PLEASE PLEASE HELP!
It’s not such a pleasant life to be stuck in an animal shelter when you’re a rabbit or a guinea-pig. We try our very best to make them happy & healthy while they wait for their new homes so this is where we desperately need your help. We would greatly appreciate FRESH donations o fendive, bok choy, choy sum, dutch carrot tops, parsley, broccoli, pak choy, wombak, chicory, radish tops, cos lettuce. Also, we need oaten or grass hay and bags of oaten chaff.
Anybody who wants to donate but lives too far away, or simply can't get in, you can use Safeway Online to deliver food to help the bunnies. https://www.homeshop.com.au/
