Mr Riley

Dear all the lovely staff and volunteers of AAPS,

This is a well-overdue update on one of your former residents, Mr Riley ( formerly Clyde ) the German Shepherd cross who was adopted in November of 2008. Like most proud fur-parents, I could tell you so many stories, but I don’t think there’s enough room on the internet! So much has changed and happened during the past 6 years but Riley has always been the centre of my world, and I am a better person for having him in my life. Thankyou for keeping my wonderful boy safe until I was ready for him, we are very happy together.

Here’s a picture of Ri with his first obedience trophy – only three months after joining school! In 6 months we had made it into top class and are now an instructor team. He’s definitely a thinker and I have to teach him a new trick every couple of months, just to keep all that brain power from turning to the dark side while I’m at work …

Moocat the cat also sends his regards … a former Keysborough kitten who is now 14 years old and full of his own amazing stories, not quite as spry as he used to be, but still undisputed King of the Backyard Jungle and amazingly intuitive therapy cat!
