The AAPS is an independent charity. We rely on income from our five opportunity shops (see below for locations) and donations and bequests to survive. Therefore any donations of money to the shelter or clean, useable items for the op-shops are greatly appreciated. Goods may be donated at the shops (addresses below) or at the shelter.
The Society also relies on volunteers. All the op-shops are run entirely by volunteers, and the shelter would not be able to continue its' work without the assistance of many loyal volunteers.
Anyone interested in helping at the op-shops should get in touch with them via the address listed below (none of the shops have a phone on). Apart from actually helping in the shops with organising goods, serving customers, cleaning etc. there is always a need for people who can pick up and deliver items to the shops.
