After 40 years, our shelter is moving. A compulsory purchase of our site in Keysborough by the Department of Education, has lead to us relocating to a new premises. The Keysborough site will close in the coming weeks and we will be relocating to a transitional site.
After the sale of our current site in Keysborough, we have purchased a property in Perry Road Dandenong, where we will build a new shelter which will be able to house double the amount of animals we currently save every year. This new shelter will not be finished before we are required to vacate our Keysborough site on June 30th 2018. We have since obtained a temporary facility that will allow us to continue to operate until our new home is finished. This temporary facility is located in Bangholme Road, Dandenong South. Due to zoning restrictions we are unable to relocate our outpatient vet clinic and as such this will be closed until we move to our final home in Perry Road.
At present we are working closely with council to ensure we meet all requirements for both sites and we are sure you can appreciate that this process is difficult and ever changing. We will continue to keep you up to date with all of our relocation news via this page. Questions are always welcome and we aim to be completely transparent during this challenging time and you are very welcome to contact our committee via email to email@example.com or via phone on 9798 8415.
